I spent many years at Woodward Academy swimming on their team. We were known as "The Mark Sharks". I also swam on the Lakeside Country Club swim team. Through my high school years I taught swimming at a little camp in the Toccoa mountains named Camp Mikell. I also love to swim in the ocean. I love all animals most especially rescue animals. I've spent many years helping local animal rescue groups save hundreds of unwanted pets and find the perfect lifetime loving homes. I also love fast cars and enjoy going to car shows. I love the time I spend with my children and grandchildren. They are my heart and soul.

Miss Ashley was very mature for her age, yet very relatable for my 12 year-old son. My son did not want to take lessons in the beginning, but grew to enjoy working with Miss Ashley very quickly. She was fun, yet very firm with him and her teaching style was very effective!
